The Fighting Sullivans - Round 2

We were hoping that Joey would have kicked cancer to the curb by now.....but I think they are trying to see who is more stubborn! 

A new year means new deductibles for this family of four!  So once again, I will wake up early every Saturday morning for the next few months (put on seven layers of clothes, plus tennis shoes) to get some long runs in.  My training for the Derby Festival Mini-Marathon (April 28th) has already begun and I'm doing it all for Joey Sullivan - a true inspiration!  I mean I'm only running 13.1 miles and this kid has been fighting and battling setback after setback for almost 17 months!  And still smiling!  And still doing amazing things for others!

I'm asking everyone to once again pledge at least $1-$2 a mile ($13 to $26 per person) to honor Joey's fight and help alleviate just a few of the worries that Joe and Angie have.  This money is going directly to a family and you can make a difference!
