The floods in Thailand have already claimed the lives of more than 500 people. Hundreds of thousands of Thai people have been directly impacted by the disaster which has seen homes destroyed and livelihoods taken away.

Current Situation (since late July)

  • 64 out of 76 provinces affected
  • Flooding up to 12-feet in severely affected areas
  • Worst Flood in Thailand since 1942
  • Damage

  • 602 Deaths (as of Nov25th)
  • 10 million people affected
  • Over 2 million people have lost their homes
  • Over one million people have earning disrupted
  • Flood expected to last through mid-December with long term impact for those who lost their homes
  • 4 million acres (over 20%) of the country's farming space
  • 6 million tons of rice and a few million tons of other crops
  • 7 industrial zones (over 1,000 factories)
