Terri's Fight with Cancer

My dear friend Terri who has been dealing with her sons brain tumor tragically has just been diagnosed with endometrial cancer herself.
She has to undergo major surgery, which will require her to be off work for 6-8 weeks. Terri works as an agency theatre nurse to allow flexibility to her sons many medical appointments. Agency nurses don't get paid annual or sick leave, this, coupled with trying to get back on her feet financially after her sons diagnosis means that she has no back up to afford the time off needed to have her own treatments and surgery. This has left her and her son, in a vulnerable and worrying situation.
Now that Terri herself is fighting cancer she needs help. She has coped with a lot in life, losing one son, aged 13 to a brain tumour. Her other son Jem was diagnosed with a brain tumour 4 years ago, after multiple surgeries to remove it and subsequent hospitalisations, he is doing ok but now has serious health issues related to the tumour. If you know anyone who has been through this, you will know how financially draining it is. Jems monthly medication costs are expensive.
We are hoping to raise enough money so Terri can recover stress free from her surgery and whatever other treatments she may need, as well as help cover everyday living expenses for her and her son.
She has remained strong through all these tragic events in her life,. If we can help her in not having to worry about how she's going to live and pay her bills, it will help enormously in her recovery and stress levels.
This is a chance to help, where it will make a real difference to a hard working single mother, who has always been independent and strong in the face of tragedy.
