Telluride TV Media Center

Media arts education courses for you and your friends. A television studio to broadcast your show live to an unlimited audience through the Web. Video editing stations. Video cameras "“ professional, DSLR, and GoPros - to check out. Adult and student education courses to help turn your great idea into a real film. All of this at your fingertips. But first we need to raise $60,000. With your commitment we can provide the place and the platform to empower you and others to share your story and learn from the pros.

The mission of Telluride TV is to provide a voice for the community through media arts education, community-based content, and access to broadcasting. Telluride TV has helped many people discover their passion for film making. Our adult and student film education classes have traditionally been full, showing a desire in the community to learn media arts. However, the station has been limited by lack of space, broken and obsolete equipment, and inconsistent versions of editing software making instruction difficult.

Thanks to the R-1 School District, a larger space for the Media Center has now been secured. The next steps are to renovate the space and purchase video cameras, computers and editing software for the public to use. With your help, we can make the center possible for the people who live and visit the Telluride region.

The space will be used for student news and entrepreneurial classes, our Director's Club film program, adult camera, editing and screenwriting courses, and is a place we can capture and archive clips from the dynamic people (musicians, film makers, CEO's) who visit the area.

Telluride is the perfect place for a Media Center, and Telluride TV is the perfect organization to make it happen. Telluride TV is a financially stable, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been in existence for over 25 years (EIN #84-1128348). This is the first time Telluride TV has used and we are asking your help to participate in a one-time capital campaign to raise funds necessary for space renovations and equipment.

Once we accomplish our capital funding goal, we will continue to run an efficient, financially stable organization and operate within our budget, and we hope you will come and enjoy the Media Center you helped make possible.

FYI, We have one $25,000 Grand Sponsor not shown in the Reward Levels. The Grand Sponsor will have the Media Center named after them or their business for five years!
