Give Teens the Experience of A Lifetime

We think that getting youth outside to learn about science, history and social issues can be a life-changing experience. Today, youth spend most of their time within city limits and know little about the vast natural resources that surround them. We want to change this for a few teens.
In partnership with Wilderness Science Explorers, a local nonprofit, we want to send four kids from disadvantaged circumstances on a 5-day white water rafting trip. Accompanying them on the trip will be professional guides, science teachers from local high schools, and youth development professionals, all donating their time to make this experience truly unique.
You can help make this trip possible for these four teens. It costs roughly $375 per youth to pay for food, transportation and equipment. We'll ask each of the kids to pay a little, just to ensure the families are invested. We'd love to be able to bring all four teens on this trip, and with your help we know we will!!
We leave on Sunday, July 29 and Return Thursday, August 2. We hope you can help us make this dream come true for these awesome kids!
