Help A Brother Recover

Hello everyone. My family is going through an extremely difficult time right now. My brother (who just spent his 25th birthday in the hospital) has been in Richmond at MCV for over a week now. He has severe damage to his liver which has caused other multiple complications. The awesome team of doctors, nurses and hepatologists have been working very hard to try to get him back on the right path. Unfortunately, they have exhausted all their efforts here and now need to transfer him to UVA to participate in a new study if he qualifies and is accepted. My family has been by his side every step of the way. It is heartbreaking, to say the least, to have to watch a loved one suffer and know there is nothing you can do but pray. My family is very close and always has been so this is especially difficult for all of us. We have been living in hotels since this started. Also, the hospital bills that have yet to come are also going to be a huge burden. I am trying to coordinate several different ways people can contribute if they feel compelled to do so. Our family is extremely grateful for all the prayers, kind words and moral support we have received! The outpouring of love and concern from everyone has been amazing to see. It has really opened my eyes to just how many lives my awesome brother has touched. Any monetary contribution is appreciated. The prayers are also much needed. Thank you for taking the time to read.
