Team Southfield Thanks You!

Team Southfield has been a team for quite a while.  We started with 5 athletes and are now up to 12.  We have five coaches who are trained in various sports, mainly track and field and bowling.  These are the two events that our athletes compete in at State Games which are held at Mt. Pleasant every May.  The goal is used to send the team and coaches to State Games.  The cost to attend State is approximately $110 per athlete.  We have to provide transportation to and from State Games and also for locals which qualify our athletes to attend State.   We also must train for 8 weeks before State.  We have athletes that only have a shirt.  We would like to purchase new uniforms with shorts and long pants.  One year we attended and the temperatures were in the low 40s.  Last year, the temperatures were in the 90s.
