Team Renee

Renee went for her mammogram she had found a large hard cyst in her left breast before going.  An immediate ultrasound was performed on the area. Another mass was discovered during the ultrasound. Renee was scheduled for a stereotactic biopsy where they discovered it was in fact cancer. She received that dreaded call advising her it was cancer in both masses 2 and 5 o'clock. The cancer is ductal carcinoma it is estrogen fed cancer. She was then sent to an oncologist surgeon for a mastectomy on her left side. June 21st she had the operation 17 lymph nodes and stage 1 reconstruction. Her masses were over 5 cm and 2 lymph nodes were positive, she was staged in between stage 2 and stage 3 breast cancer. Ductal carcinoma left, 5 cm, grade 3, 2 out of 17 nodes positive. Dr. Barron is her doctor for her chemo journey. She goes weekly for 12 weeks for the first round and finish with 4 doses every 2 weeks(strongest chemo). She will then go for a consultation about radiation and after she finishes radiation she can finish stage 2 of 3 for her reconstruction surgery.  She is very weak , tired, nauseous and is constantly losing her hair.  On top of all of this she got shingles and is having difficulty getting rid of them. If that isn't enough she just found out she she has cellulitis. 
 She is facing financial uncertainties and doesn't need this added stress. Everyone that knows Renee knows what a wonderful and caring person she is.  She is determined to beat this and pay it forward. So in creating this account hopefully it will show her all the support and love she deserves! So y'all if you can find it in your heart to help out, no amount is to small.
