Breanna and Abby Woroniak were involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on August 1, 2013 in Manistee, MI. As a result of the accident, both girls sustained serious injuries.
Abby was hospitalized at West Shore Medical Center and was discharged on August 5th. She is now home and recovering.
Breanna sustained injuries that will require long term medical care. She was transported by helicopter to Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, where she is currently hospitalized. Within the last week she has had several surgeries. She will soon be getting transferred to the U of M hospital in Ann Arbor for additional long term care and rehabilitation.
The Woroniak family members have been traveling between Manistee and Grand Rapids in order to be there for Breanna. They are also trying to handle affairs at home along with working and being there for their other children.
This travel has come at great expense and is expected to increase after Breanna is transferred further from home.
These funds will be used by the Woroniak family to provide gas, food, lodging and other family needs that aren't covered by insurance.
Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated! The set goal amount above is actually unknown at this point as we do not know what the costs will be and the length of time that Breanna will need this care. We realize that not everyone will be able to donate but emotional support is also welcomed and encouraged!
