A heavy heart does not begin to describe it. A source of light, joy and all that is good was tragically taken from us this past Monday (20 Feb 17). Victoria Alvarez was a gorgeous 19 year old whose smile, vibrance and bubbling personality livened any space. All that knew her are undoubtebly crushed and devastated by her loss.
Where do we go from here? How do we process, internalize and give meaning to such an incident? Untimely death (especially when it relates to such a wonderful person) is nearly impossible to digest; even less possible to find a silver lining or 'take' on such a catastrophe. We yearn for a time when we can make some sense of it; in order to fully accept this painful reality.
This account exists to help her family pay for the expenses incurred in all the necessary arrangements. No amount too small, no gesture insignificant. There is not a soul known to us that did not enjoy her company and wasn't captivated by her radiance.
We miss and love you, Victoria.
