Team Suzanne

Okay, I am done crying.  I am back to being PISSED!  I cannot cure her cancer, but I can do this:

My darling younger "“middle "“ baby of the week "“ sister Suzanne's cancer is the devil.  It is doing its best to invade her body & soul and I am NOT DONE FIGHTING!

As most of you know, my sister Suzanne had been fighting cervical cancer since 2012.  It is "cervical cancer acting as ovarian cancer."  It is ugly.  Suzanne underwent surgery after being diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2012, and underwent a 2nd surgery in 2013, and chemo, after it returned in 2013.  The cancer is not responding to the chemo. it continues to grow.  It is doing its best not to go away.

Suzanne continues to teach at the job she loves, at the school she loves and with the teachers/friends/coworkers that she adores. I know she is committed to working as long as she can. I think she is crazy.  I wish she would sit in her hammock.

We all want to help Suzanne.  So many people have asked me how to help.  I wish I know. Cure for cancer anyone?  I don't have it, so I am kick starting this campaign again.   I started this GO FUND ME campaign for Suzanne in 2013 after the government announced budget cuts & new furlough plan for teachers, and because medical treatments are expensive!  I set up this site up so F&F could "buy" Suzanne a Starbucks, happy hour at Sonic, a grilled cheese & soup, a tank of gas to drive to Nashville for chemo:. for whenever she needs/wants one - for luxuries or necessities - whatever she chooses.

AND NOW I am back!

Again, this is an easy way to help!  Again, if Suzanne does not want to use the money, then she can certainly use it to "pay it forward" to the next person, donate it to a charity, whatever she wants.  I hope she uses it for her "bucket list" or for lunch with girlfriends on a "good" day.  Again, I'm not asking Suzanne's permission to do this - I am just doing this!  As one of my favorite people likes to say, this is not charity, it is a "gift from a warm hand that cannot be refused."  Can't do this right now? I get it!  Send her a card "“ a post card "“ a cute photo of a baby or a puppy.  I now that may sound like nothing, but having spent the last year fighting my own cancer, I can PERSONALLY tell you this is EVERYTHING.

I am committed to donating the cost of 1 Starbucks every week - Very small - Very simple - Not much - but if 100 do it?  If 1000 do it?  Let us ROAR!
