2015 Buddy Walk: Team Evie

Evie is raising money to spread awareness about Down Syndrme and she needs your help. The Down Syndrome Society of the Susquehanna Valley is a local organization that provides support for families who have amazing kids just like Evie. It is a nonprofit that coordinates events and guides a network of local families in need of support. It operates solely through volunteerism and funds all activities through donations. 
On September 12th, we will be holding our largest community event and fundraiser at Midd West High School and  we wanted to give you the opportunity to be a part of it. Last year we were able to raise $2,175  online due to the generosity of friends and family like you. All donations from this page will go towards the DSSSV Buddy Walk: Team Evie.
Evelyn was born on February 9th and diagnosed with Down Syndrome on February 10th of 2014. Although it was a surprise, we found ourselves surrounded by a supportive community that informed and encouraged us. We want to give that to others.
Evelyn is an absolute joy and blessing  to all she encounters. She and her friends are working hard to do things that many of take for granted.  Help us spread awareness so that she and her friends can be seen for their abilities and not their diagnoses.
Please be advised that the fund still counds the amount donated last year at this time.
Our goal is to raise a total of $1,000 for this year. This would bring the total of this gofundme to $3175.  Tessa and I are going to pay the cost associated with the account to ensure every penny donated goes to the DSSSV. Thank you for helping  kids like ours.
