Funding Taylor's Fight!

In the wee hours of the morning today, April 29, 2014, my friend Shawnee Miller Krueger announced with a heavy heart that they were moving her 12-year-old daughter, Taylor, into palliative (hospice) care. Taylor has been fighting with a true warrior spirit against an aggressive brain tumor since December 2012; after having beat leukemia into submission as a toddler.
Unfortunately, Taylor's fight seems to be nearing its end; leaving many of us that know her, have followed her fight, and have prayed for her to win this second round battle against cancer with not only a heavy heart; but a feeling of helplessness.
There is no comfort we can provide that will ease their pain during this time. But, what I am hoping to do, is help to ease some of the outside strains so Shawnee and her family can enjoy the time they have remaining with their 12-year-old Warrior Princess as fully and freely as possible.
Shawnee had announced that she will be off work indefinitely to care for her daughter herself in their home for the remainder of Taylor's battle. Please consider donating what you can to help ensure that this time spent home with Taylor is 100% focused on giving her the best quality of life, and creating the best memories possible for Shawnee and her family.
May we all be inspired by Taylor's fighting spirit, always bright and optimistic outlook, and big heart; but also by the depths of Shawnee's resilience and love as she's stood by her daughter's side during this battle.
