Tatyana Triumphs Melanoma

Hi I am writing to you today about a special woman in my life, Tatyana Vassilchenko. I am a Canadian hockey player and for the past two years I have been playing hockey in Kazahstan . Last year I had the opportunity  to meet Tatyana, and from the very first time I met her, I knew she was going to make an impact in my life. She’s beautiful, down to earth, honest, adorably funny and is one, if not the kindest, hearted people I’ve come to get to know. She’s the type of girl that I can see myself spending the rest of my life with. But now she has to be strong and brave . The sad thing is, unfortunately, terrible things happen to good people as she has been diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer. This has been a very difficult time for the both of us as the harsh realities about her condition came crashing down. We need to start treatment as soon as possible because Doctors predicted that within two months the cancer will start to spread once again. The treatment is very expensive but has an 80% chance of eradicating all the cancer cells and is our last hope. She requires 130mg of YERVOY and 50mg of Opdivo every 4 weeks for the first 12 weeks. Then afterwards another 240mg of solely Opdivo every 2 weeks for the remaining 40 weeks of the year. Sadly Kazakhstan does not provide this treatment so we have to buy and receive it elsewhere. Please help us overcome this travesty. I can’t bare to think about not having this wonderful person in our world, in my world. I know we can get through this all together!
Tatyana is going to start her treatment in Israel next week so I will withdraw the money that we have raised so far and give it to her to purchase the first two months of therapy :)
