Hi All!
I'm Marissa, Tarah's sister! I have set up gofundme in order to raise $50,000 to get Tarah a PerMobile Wheelchair and a Handicap Accessible Van.
INDEPENDENCE, PAIN MINIMIZATION, QUALITY OF LIFE is what we are striving for!!!!
Tarah needs a new power Wheelchair and Handicap Accessible Van. She has ever increasing and debililitating pain from the wheelchair she currently uses. This minimizes her activities of daily living ;( She has lost so much of her independence because of this. Her van is not reliable and to drive she has to transfer from her wheelchair to the drivers seat which has been even causing more pain.
My sister's spirit is so beautiful! She works during the week to counsel others -thats her passion. She needs to be able to get to work in a dependable vehicle with a wheelchair that is safe so she can continue her life path.
With a new wheelchair and an accessible van (she can stay in her wheelchair to drive) she will have more independence and that is priceless. I wanted to help her get these two items so that she can get back that quality of life she used to have.
Tarah just got married, she is moving forward in her life and we want nothing more but to see her succeed. We would appriceate any financial attributes to help her reach her goals. We are kindly asking friends/family and the general public to help us help her!!
