Talayah’s Journey has ended today

For all that know Michael and I had a baby girl on May 3rd. We named her Talayah Deborrah Marie Page. She seemed to be a healthy baby at birth up to four months old Talayah developed a tumour on her right side of her kidney. We found this all out after many visits with the health bus, Family Doctor and City Hospital so on Sept 22nd I took my baby into emergency at RUH because Talayah still couldn’t poop and I wasn’t able to get it moving. They seen Talayah and right away wanted an ultrasound done and that’s when we were told that our little girl had develop a large Mass Growth on her right side and that we would need Surgery to remove it, at that point no one knew where it was growing from or what kind it was. Talayah had to do a CT scan for us to figure out where it was coming from. She had to do a second CT scan to make sure that there was only one and if it was really coming from the kidney. So after all the pokes and tests Talayah under went surgery which happened on Oct 3rd at the Royal University hospital. We have since been discharged on a pass home while we wait for the results from the biopsy that was sent after surgery to see what type of cancer and what stage it is. Treatment will start on Oct 18th after Talayah has her second Surgery to place a line in for chemotherapy. This Tumour is cancerous but at this time with out the results we do not know the kind of cancer or the stage as mentioned. My husband may have to take time off work to help me with being at the hospital and with our other little ones at home. I hate asking for help period but was told it’s okay to ask when needed and at this time we need help, I however just want to say I have not created this page to get rich off my sick child but to ask for some help with Gas, meals and parking babysitting costs and what ever else that may be needed on our stay here at Royal University Hospital. It’s really hard for us to even want to ask for help as we are so use to doing it on our own it’s kinda embarrassing even creating this page but then again asking for help when needed is OK 

Talayah’s tumour is on her right Kidney that is extremely big as seen in the photo. The tumour it’s self is highlighted in yellow so you all can see the size we are dealing with but it grow even bigger before surgery, Talayah has lost her right kidney now that she was able to have surgery. We just don’t know what kind or stage at this time... we do ask for continuous prayers for our little bundle of joy and I want to say thank you to everyone In advance for any support..yellow is Tumour... Red Line is Right Kidney that is squashed from tumour and has to also be removed.. black circle is left Kidney that appears to be ok at this point.. this was before surgery.
