Many of you have sent me private messages asking how you can help Cindy. Thank you!
As most of you know, Cindy is a fighter. I'd like to think we all have learned something from the strength and determination she has exhibited over the last 2 years. It's been almost 2 years since she received the devastating news "you have stage 4 lung cancer. " She has under gone numerous chemo treatments leaving her in bed for days sick has hell. If that wasn't enough, rounds of harsh radiation has left her body limp and tired. I think in the last 2 years she has had only 3 months free of treatment. Tim has been working triple time making it all work. The girls are as well. There is a piece of me that believes Lex gave up spring cheerleading to help care for her mom. Needless to say, everyone is a bit stressed.
So how can you help? How about helping to ensure their Christmas is as beautiful as it can possibly be. If we can give them the extra money for that special gift or opportunity to experience something memorable, we have all done a good thing. So please, let's help the Tutwiler's this holiday season. And remember #TUTSTRONG for life.
