OLYMPIAN IN THE MAKING
Donation protected
Timothy Demeritt Jr., is a fourteen year old young man with goals, and dreams. He is a smart, humble, and kind hearted freshman in high school, who one day wants to be an Olympian runner. He has been participating in Track and Field since the age of 9.
Timothy has earned a spot at the TAAF Games of America, an Olympic Style, Track and Field National Meet in Lincoln, Nebraska, from July 27, 2015 - August 2, 2015. To earn that privilege, Timothy competed in the Summer Track program offered by TAAF. He participated in several circuit meets throughout Texas, in which he won numerous blue , and a few red ribbons.
Timothy also won two gold medals, and a silver medal in the regional meet held in Waco, Tx., that allowed him to advance to the State Games of Texas, held in College Station, Tx. Timothy placed in the top 10 of three running events, in which he won the bronze medal for the 400 meter dash.
Timothy's trip to participate in this well earned opportunity is a bit expensive. Due to his mother's illness she's unable to work. She has Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia and it can seriously effect her brain, thyroid and pancreas. She has had to undergo brain surgery to remove some tumors that were found.
Timothy, along with his three siblings, have had to sacrifice quite a bit due to financial strain. With only one parent working, things are very tight.
We are asking for sponsors, and donations to help with funding for travel, lodging, uniforms, and any other expenses that Timothy may incur.
Let's help this young man reach his goal, and achieve one of his dreams!
Thank you so much for your support!
