Brutal attack on Galveston local

As most of you are aware by now one of our own, Thelonious "TJ" Haley was brutally attacked right here in Galveston. His attacker lured him outside by turning off the electricity to his apartment. Once outside and heading towards the breaker box, she proceeded to set him on fire in such a manner it looks like something from a movie. http://abc13.com/man-set-on-fire-outside-galveston-apartment/2708631/ 


TJ is currently recovering at John Sealy Hospital with 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his head, face, neck, arm and hand. The severity of the burns to his arm and hand required skin grafting, doctors harvested skin from TJ's thigh early Wednesday morning. At this point he says he's "just happy to be alive". 

We're raising funds in an effort to alleviate the weight of the bills TJ is about to be hit with.  Along with the cost of surgery there's the ambulance ride, ER fees, hospital stay, and medication. In addition to those expenses, December 1st is tomorrow, which means rent, electric, phone etc., are all due soon.
