This coming February we will be returning to Cuba. In addition to the THREE hospitals where Clowns 4 Cuba, TCI has established programs, we will be launching new initiatives at THREE more hospitals across Cuba. In Santiago de Cuba we will be connecting with acclaimed researcher and therapeutic clown, Dr. Manuel Verdecia, and from there, we will be travelling to Santa Clara and Havana where TCI will be facilitating training and mentoring workshops for more than 30 practitioner partners.
Through gentle humour and caring play, the therapeutic clowns of Therapeutic Clowns International (TCI) provide comfort, emotional support and hope for children and their families during the stress and anxiety of hospitalization.
This specialized complimentary therapy relies solely on the generous donations of caring individuals, foundations and corporations. Your dollars will train the trainers to educate and position professional Therapeutic Clown Practitioners. With your help, we can put smiles on the faces of sick, injured and at risk children globally all year round.
