Help An Art Student Study in Italy

Hi!

My name is Sydne’ Barard. I'm 17 years old and a rising senior at Baton Rouge Magnet High School. I think that my commitment to my education shows in a number of ways: I have a 3.8 GPA and memberships in BETA Club and the National Honor Society. I am also an aspiring artist with 3 years of study in a gifted and talented art program.

I am writing to you in hopes of getting your help to experience the opportunity of a lifetime. I have applied and was accepted to study art in Florence, Italy for 13 days and 12 nights with the Marist College summer studio art pre-college program. This course would not only help me expand my knowledge and skills, but would also give me the opportunity to expand my horizons and explore one of the world's most significant centers of art and culture.
