Swink's Kidney Transplant

Hello Everyone,
My name is Allison "Swink" Taormina. I created this website to help raise money for my older brother Donnie Swink. Donnie is 29 years old, fun, loving and caring and a wonderful uncle to his niece and nephew.
My brother was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease called IGA Nephropathy in March of 2012. Since March of 2012, he and our family have been on a rollercoaster of good and bad news. Donnie was placed on the living and non-living transplant list, while receiving dialysis treatments three days a week. Several family members stepped forward to be tested to become living donors. Our Aunt Debbie was thankfully a match! In October of 2012 the transplant was done and Donnie was onto living a normal life again...which was only the case for six short months.
Unfortunately, six months after the transplant, Donnie's transplanted kidney had been attacked by the same disease. Since the bad news, we have watched my brothers health deteriorate...multiple trips to the emergency department, hospital stays, and three days a week of dialysis treatments.
Just one week ago my brother was re-listed for the living and non-living transplant list. Two of our cousins are in the process of being tested to be his donor. If either of them are approved, we will be using the money raised for medications and living expenses for both my brother and his donor.
