Thank you for viewing Tony and Laura's funding site! It means everything to have such supportive family and friends! Whether it is through the generosity of kind thoughts or contributions; we are truly grateful.
Here is where you can read and follow a little about our dreams! We've met some meaningful goals thus far. After I finished my ASN in nursing school, we got married in 2010 and bought our first home!! Last year Tony found himself quite happy in his new career with a great company. We have two healthy dogs that are the sweetest four legged creatures. We recently started our debt snowball program and I finished my BSN. All these wonderful things left us wanting even more in life!
With the fear of past doctors saying I probably could never conceive a baby and that my ovaries have vanished, possible from a previous health problem if Hashimoto's (an autoimmune disfunction of the thyroid gland) Since then, we have dealt with some heart aches. However, no amount of pain can counter act the joy brought by the idea of extending the family. Within 2014 we were introduced to a wonderful doctor who has an extremely high rate of IVF treatment success. Even though I may not be able to conceive a child, carrying one wouldn't be issue. This was and is the most wonderful news! We've been working so hard and saving up as much as we can, however we learned with my medical problems it is better to start now rather than later.
However with no insurance coverage, $20,000+ is hard to come up with on the fly. Refinancing and financing does not seem to be possiblw for us, so it is coming down to the money we save. (What better dream to save for?!) However, We could really use your help! It was hard for us to ask for monetary fundings but we have realized it's the only way to make a beautiful dream into a short term goal. We understand that some will not be able and for some little money can be contributed. We ask everyone to keep us in your kind thoughts, prayers and to stay involved in our journey. Whatever you feel could be donated we would wholeheartedly be grateful, we love you all!!
Tony and I have been talking and envisioning our lives with a little one. I can't express how we both feel when thinking of this! We have come to realize what our lives are missing. There is an overwhelming sense of joy, love, gratitude when we dream this dream. What an amazing opportunity! Let us grow our family!
