Medical Fund for Suresh

Our/My classmate and friend Suresh from ECE had a viral attack a year ago which affected a portion of his brain cells. He has undergone treatment since then which has resulted in improvement. He has some mobility with help when compared to his bed ridden stage at the beginning He is currently under the care of his wife with help from a paid care taker.
His Physio bill itself cost over Rs. 60,000/- a month apart from other medical bills for his treatment.
We have started a “Go Fund me” page to raise 15,000USD toward his treatment for next year. To gain maximum benefit to your funds, your contributions will be managed, coordinated by Vinod (ECE), Arun Jayaramanm,HeraldJoesen and Muthamilan
Any amount you contribute would make a huge difference toward his medical expense.
Let us stand to support our friend and a fellow classmate in achieving the target and assisting him through this financial hardship.
Withdrawal Plan.
Suresh lives in India. There is not a direct way to transfer funds from gofundme to Suresh. The aim of the this fund is to help Suresh with his medical needs alone and so I have volunteered to manage the funds. The funds will be intially transferred to my personal bank account in US. From here it will be transferred to a separate account that has been created in my name for this purpose. This indian account will also hold money received from friends of Suresh living in India. To make sure that funds are utilized only for medical purposes we plan to release funds on a monthly basis supported by medical bills.
I have released the first installement of 1 lakh rupees of my own money thru this account as that this the need of the hour. This 1 lakh covers
1) Hospital bills
2) Transporatation to Bangalore
3) Medicine
4) Salary for full time helper
I will keep the story updated as Suresh makes progress and we release funds.
