Supporting Mr Cooperman

A very important member of our Gulliver community needs our support. Mr. Cooperman has impacted generations of Gulliver students as Activities Director, coach and teacher. For 39 years, he has supported students, parents and faculty; now it is time for us to give back to him.
Mr. Cooperman is undergoing a one-year treatment for metastatic melanoma. Although he has previously been treated for melanoma, it has returned and it has spread. While Mr. Cooperman has health insurance and access to excellent care, managing the appointments and treatment will be a financial burden. There will be co-pays, deductibles, and trips to Mt Sinai for treatment. Because Mr. Cooperman will not be allowed to drive during treatment, transportation will become a considerable expense.
We are hoping to provide emotional and critical financial support for the Coopermans so that they can focus on the most important work at this time: getting Mr. Cooperman healthy again.
Please consider donating to help this amazing Gulliver family and share with others in the community who would also want to contribute. Any amount is helpful, and all funds raised will go directly to Mr. Cooperman. While we cannot precisely predict their expenses related to his treatment, your contributions will allow the Coopermans to focus their energies on his treatment and full recovery.
Mr. Cooperman and his family have given us permission to go forward with this effort and are truly grateful that we are stepping up to help. Mr. Cooperman is viewing his treatment as a positive challenge, so comments of encouragement and support are greatly appreciated.
