JK Sr.-Cancer/Tumor in liver!
My family and I were given some unfortunate news recently that I have a tumor in my liver, which surrounds my bile duct. Originally diagnosed as hilar cholangiocarcinoma. The tumor has placed itself in a very tough spot. After six weeks, six doctors, eight procedures we have now identified the tumor as lymphoma type. I have an excellent team of doctor's at BJC, and treatment has already started!
This is the beginning of a long treatment process. I am convinced with the power of prayer; You, all my freinds, and family's support is integral. Any thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes are greatly appreciated. I believe this is the strongest medicine on the planet. Prayers bring miracles!
My hope is to maintain a sense of normality through this process. For this, I do need some help as we go to meet just the everyday demands of life. I will have medical expenses to cover. I will work as long and as much as possible while I can to help offset these expenses. I do anticipate needing some help, and through this anticipation is how my GoFundMe was born. Any amount is welcome, no amount is too small. I put a three month goal as I believe this will allow our best foot forward in pursuing all treatments and full focus.
I am truly sorry to have had to share this tough news, but with your prayers, love and support I know we can get through this ordeal! I will attempt to update as frequently as I can on my status and the process!
