Vietnam Veteran Down On His Luck

Donation protected

Meet Sully, (Left) a Vietnam veteran and a man with a heart of gold  who has fallen on some tough times. I met Sully 3 years ago and over that time I have watched him help individuals and his community in a multitude of ways without even asking for repayment or even recognition. He has helped raise to 10's of 1000's of dollars for veterans organizations and now he find's himself in a bind relocating his RV and trying not to suffocate under medical bills from his latest surgery. (a number so high I'm not even going to type it out here)

Today I received a call from a frantic Sully telling me that he lost his wallet at the VA hospital and it contained every bit of money he has ($436) for this month as well as all his identification and credit/debit cards. I know this man well, I call him a friend, and I know he deserves the help that I'm asking for. He is too proud to ask himself and knows nothing of this campaign, at least as I'm typing it.

I have set my schedule to help him pack, load out his camper and relocate by May 1, 2018 so the logistics on that end are under control. The issue now is that with no wallet/money he is unable to secure this new lot, afford fuel or manage the the expenses that will present themselves up until his next disability payment. Right now I calculate his expenses at near $1000 to secure a new RV spot w/ deposit, transfer utilities if not included, fuel truck and allow him to eat. I'm setting the goal just approve that at $1500 because this man is deserving of a break from the stresses of the daily grind and karma is seemingly non existent here.

I ask that you please help me help Sully by donating to his campaign and/or passing this on to your friends and family and let's give this hero the help he deserves.

About Me: My name is Rom (right) and I have ridden alongside Sully in the Combat Vets for nearly 3 years where he helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for our country's veterans. We have assisted at the Southeast Louisiana War Veteran's Home together as well as the VFW and I can say without question that this man has given his all to this country and his community and just needs a helping hand. Thank you for taking the time to read over this and I look forward to working together to help get him back on his feet.)
