Please Help Shirley Fight Lung Cancer!
Shirley was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer the weekend of St. Patrick's Day 2014. She was having trouble breathing when it was discovered that she had a collapsed lung and that her lungs were encased in fluid. This medical emergency lead to other tests which resulted in the devastating news. In order for her to begin the medical treatment she requires, she'll need to come up with thousands of dollars in just days. We are hoping to assist her in raising these funds for treatment. Although she is brave, we can see she is afraid that she won't find the means to fund her treatment. We realize this is just the beginning of a long and difficult fight. Shirley is not only an incredible boss to us but also an amazing wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend. Shirley goes beyond her professional duties to share much warmth and compassion for those who work for her. Office morale is always a priority to her making sure we have a cake to share and decorations to celebrate on birthdays. She's famous in our building for the delicious breakfast burritos and tamales she slaves over to make enough to feed us all. Shirley is a strong lady who has independently overcome so many difficulties in her life and has always been hesitant in asking for help. She selflessly does so much for those around her which inspires us to provide her with the support she deserves as she faces this battle. It is our great love for our boss Shirley, which leads us to plead for your help! Lets help Shirley smack lung cancer's ass!!!
