Support Sarah

As many of you know, our dear friend Sarah was born with Cystic Fibrosis and, as a result, has faced many medical challenges throughout her life.  Despite these challenges she has always sought out the positive and demonstrated amazing strength -- this year she is celebrating her 10-year anniversary of a double lung transplant!!!  Even more, she has become a huge advocate for others with CF and has spent a great deal of time and energy raising money for CF research.  Very recently we were all shocked and saddened (an understatement) to hear that Sarah has now been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and will initiate chemo and radiation treatments at Princess Margaret hospital starting later this month, for many months to come.

Although we are grateful to hear that John will be taking several months away from work in order to be by Sarah's side and to support her every step of the way, we recognize that this may become challenging from a financial perspective.  Additionally, we are aware of all of the extra costs involved, relating to the actual treatment process.

As a way to help offset their living expenses during this difficult time, we decided to create a "GoFundMe" account as an option for those looking for a way to support Sarah and John.

Most importantly, however, Sarah has once again chosen the path of positivity and has asked nothing more than your prayers and your positive thoughts towards her recovery.
