Sanaa's Medical Internship in India

Our daughter Sanaa received an award from The Congress of Future Physicians and Medical Scientist during their annual conference in Washington, DC last November. We were recently contacted by their sister organization with an opportunity for Sanaa to do a medical internship with them in India during the summer. Sanaa is a beautiful, creative, and self determined young woman who has big dreams for her future. Currently she holds a 3.85 gpa and was elected as secretary of her school's National Honor Society. Believing deeply in the right of all women to receive adequate health care and assistance in having natural births, her intention is to enroll in a pre-med program at Emory University to study obstetrics. Although she plans to practice natural child birth guidance, she is choosing to get her MD to minimize the need to ever refer a patient to a hospital for proceedures she can perform. Her long term goal is to open several birthing and educational centers both nationally and abroad. 

We will be hosting a number of fundraisers during the next 6 months and will also be posting photos and videos of Sanaa and her progress throughout her senior year.
