Payton Fields Accident Recovery

Payton Fields is a nine year old little boy at Old King's Elementary School in Palm Coast, FL. He is in Ms. Schiller's third grade class.   He was in a car accident on Saturday March 10 on his way to his flag football playoff game.  We watched the helicopters flying overhead during the football games as they were coming in to land nearby to air lift him to the hospital as he was in critical condition.  
His sister Hailey, 15 year old student at Matanzas High School, and his grandmother Charlotte were also injured in the accident. 

Charlotte is still in the hospital after having surgery on two broken arms.  She is at Halifax.

Hailey was treated and released.  She is doing ok despite her injuries and providing support for her brother and grandma.

Payton was transferred from Halifax to Arnold Palmer in Orlando.  He sufferred some internal injuries, a laceration in his liver and bruised kidney.  He sufferred a broken leg and broken jaw and underwent surgery to repair both of these.  

They will all need care and support during their recovery.  The childrens' grandmother who was injured is their caregiver.  She will need help in this process in numerous ways.
