Hi I'm Abbey's friend and I'm doing this for her cause I know she won't and she could really use the help.

Our teammate and dear friend, Abbey aka Magik, has just suffered a devastating knee injury that requires immediate major surgery and a long recovery.

Abbey aka Magik has been a part of our roller derby community for years, and this season she finally achieved her dream of making the A Team, a goal she worked tirelessly toward. Just as she was hitting her stride, everything was ripped away in a single moment.

Her MRI revealed a complete ACL rupture, multiple meniscus tears, and additional ligament damage. A serious injury that will keep her off skates for a long time and require extensive surgery and rehabilitation.

But this is about more than derby. She is also the loving mother of two younger kids, and she’s facing the challenge of recovering while still providing for them. Between medical bills, time off work, and everyday expenses, the financial burden is overwhelming.

If you know Abbey aka Magik, you know she’s one of the most caring, hilarious, and supportive people you’ll ever meet. She keeps the bench light with her jokes, always puts her teammates first, and goes above and beyond for her friends and family. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

We’re asking for your help to ease the financial stress so that she can focus on healing and caring for her children. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference.

Thank you for supporting one of the brightest lights in our derby family. Let’s help Abbey aka Magik get through this and back on her feet.
