Karen Rapelje Short beating cancer!

People have been asking how they can help support Karen Rapelje-Short. As you can imagine, Karen is facing many battles. One of them is her mounting medical bills. Even with good insurance, and her having her long term disability things are adding up very quickly. Together we can help relieve a bit of her financial burden and let Karen and her inner support team focus on her and her care.




Karen was diagnosed with Lung cancer Nov 2013. Karen is doing good with her treatments and has alot of love around her to help her fight this battle. She has had huddles along the way but is still full of joy and still loves to have a good laugh. Like she always tells us "I was in the Marines, nothing can take me down". She has kept the smile on her face and still enjoys the little things in life like having her grandbabys over.








Karen has worked so hard her whole life as a single mom of 3 and then even adopted a 4th and helped raise a few others along the way. For once in her life she needs to worry about herself and take care of her and to worry about the battle she has in front of her. She needs to be able to know that she is going to be ok and that she dont need to worry about anything but fighting to beat this cancer.
