Our friends, Jo and Rob Guion are fighting a battle that's difficult for many of us to imagine. A few years ago, they rekindled an old connection and after an unexpected long Thanksgiving trip with friends, their love story began. On September 26th, they will celebrate two years of marriage, hopefully at Busch Stadium cheering on Jo's beloved Cardinals.
Jo has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Despite this terrible news, they are hopeful and doing their best to enjoy every day together.
They need our help. Because they are on a fixed income, there isn't enough money to handle extra expenses. At 73, Rob is having to take precious time away from Jo to work just to make ends meet. As you can imagine, right now, they want to enjoy every second that they have together. Their air conditioner is broken and it's going to cost over $3,000 to replace it. The last thing Jo needs is to come home from chemo into a sweltering house. They also need help with other medical and household expenses.
There will be travel needs as Jo spends time with her children and grand-children and expenses associated with making sure they can get to St Louis from out of town to visit their mother and grandmother.
Please give whatever your heart and your checkbook can spare. They will appreciate anything that you can do to help.
