Help Theresa Get on Her Feet!

As some of you know, we (Amanda and Rachel) have worked with an incredible woman, Theresa, for the past year and a half to support her in preparing for her parole hearing. Through this work together, we have developed a strong friendship and we deeply admire Theresa's strength and humor and her ability to give love and support to all those around her, despite the enormous challenges she has faced while inside prison.

We are thrilled to announce that Theresa was successful in her parole hearing and was released from prison in January 2017, after 33 years of incarceration.

Theresa has been working to create a life for herself on the outside, and like many people returning home after decades of incarceration, she must face the challenges  of finding housing and employment. 

We are asking our community for donations to support Theresa as she builds her life on the outside.
