Help support Dylan's recovery!

To anyone and everyone who would like to help Dylan and his family.  Dylan is one of my son's best friends and such a wonderful kid who always is happy, thoughtful of others, and very polite.  His family is just as great!  In the evening of Thursday, January  4th, Dylan was involved in a major car accident.  He was driving from a friend's house to pick-up his mom from work, when he lost control of the car on a dirt road.  The vehicle he was driving rolled multiple times and Dylan was thrown from the vehicle.  He was transported to Bergan Mercy hospital where he has sustained a number of injuries and remains in an induced paralization and coma in the Intensive Care Unit.  He is currently undergoing multiple operations as the days pass and is expected to remain in the hospital for a long time.  

Dylan was a senior this year, with hopes of joining the military.  He had just passed to ASVAB two hours prior to his accident.  Now his future is in god's hands and his family is faced with a very long road to recovery with intense rehabilitation. His recovery and rehab will be grueling, both emotionally and physically for the whole family. In addition to the physical and emotional toll caused by the accident, Dylan and his family will also face severe financial burdens. Heather, Dylan's mom taken off work to be by his side at all times and will run out of vacation remaining on a leave of absence without pay.  E ven with insurance, medical bills can be a financial burden from doctor’s bills and co-pays to travel costs and loss of wages.
