Aparna's Dream Center Mission Trip

I'm Aparna and a single mother, and Christian. This past 2 years, I have gone thorough and am still going through a challenge that has caused me and my children to be separated. When I heard about this opportunity to go an a short term mission trip to support and help the Dream Center in L. A., but also to learn from them. I knew that I had to go. As I learned more about what the Dream Center does, I knew that this is what God had prepared me for. I am trusting GOD to make it possible. I know that with your support, not only can I go, help, and learn, but I would love to leave behind a small token for the the foster care provention program to help keep more famlies together. I am looking to raise $1500 + and trusting that my story will touch you and that you will partner with me to help these people.
I know only too well how those parents feel, and how it can be a devistating time for families. I want to share the goodness of GOD, and how despite our differences we are all family and gie them hope at a time when they feel lost and hopeless. I want them to know that GOD is bigger then their circumstances and that He has a plan and loves them and will care for them.
Separating a family for superficial reasons, causes unimmagineable harm. I was recently informed that it can take several generations for the impact of that separation to be worked through. I have felt what those parents feel, and believe that by sharing my experience I can give hope and support to those facing that option. Better yet, being able to provide help and support to prevent the family from being separated, would be a big blessing.
I welcome the opportunity to see and learn how this ministry is done, and hopefully, bring back ideas as to how I/we can apply the same process and better support families here at home.
I want to use the challenge I have been through,my experience, to not complain but allow God to use me to be part of a solution and bring about a change that can prevent families from experiencing the pain of being separated.
This means so much to me, as it is personal, and I know so many of you have given me prayers, love, and support through this challenge. Without it I could not and would not be standing today. I believe that God put me in this valley, so that I could share my experience, and help those, going through the same challenge. Those who may not have the support that I have. I have seen first hand the damage this does to a family and relationships. I know that if I can use my experience to help prevent families from having to go through this nightmare, than I need to do so. I also know that I can give them hope, the same hope that I was given I want to share, give them an opportunity to just have someone who understands and has been there listen, and treat them with respect and kindness.
I am trusting and asking that you please support me in this cause that is so close to my own heart. I believe that there is a reason and purpose. I would be so thankful for any support that you can provide to me in making this desire a reality. Please also pray for me and the rest of the team who are going, that we are there showing HIS goodness and love.
