Support Shannon's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected

Shannon Heika is a beautiful 22 year old who was just diagnosed with Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) and now she's in a fight for her life. She began her first chemotherapy treatment on February 4th. Several cycles may be needed to get her into remission so she can receive a bone marrow transplant (donation drive info to follow).

She graduated from Dakota High School in 2009 and then from University of Detroit Mercy with a degree in biology in 2013. She had just began her 2nd semester at Life University College of Chiropractic when she was diagnosed with this rare form of leukemia.

Shannon is a fighter, but she needs a strong team behind her. Please help us relieve any financial pressures so she can concentrate on getting better and beating this horrible disease.

Our current fundraising goals are to cover anything her insurance won't cover, travel expenses (she's currently in Atlanta until she's well enough to travel to Michigan), and a nice wig.

Her student loans will also come due because she will not be in school. We'd like to help with those as well.
