Support the Ukrainian children and their families

A beautiful day to you all. My name is Cees Dijker and I live in Rhenen.
Many Ukrainian refugees have stayed in Poland and just seen by the numbers it is not difficult to realize the challenges they face. There are more being sheltered in Krakow then in the whole of the Netherlands. In addition to worrying about a roof over their heads, for many people not working means no food. Long lines at food banks, at various aid groups and foundations to receive food is something we do not know in the Netherlands. This bothers me and I just want to do something.
I still remember those shelters where Ukrainians were packed together in rooms with no privacy at all. With poor sanitairy conditions and not enough electric stoves to cook a decent meal. Compared with living conditions in shelters run from the government in our place it could be best descibed as budget versus comfort. But the difference is, from what I have seen, that the help being offered there in Krakow is done voluntarily and comes straight from the heart!
December 17th I will go on a trip to Krakow. It is this time of season where we wish light and warmth to fill our hearts and that of our loved ones. This time I will collect toy's, sweets and food for Ukraine. Those supplies will go to foundation 'Dobro Zawsze Wraca' which means 'good always comes back'. This is one of the largest aid centers left in Krakow. They help Ukrainian refugees locally and they organise humanitarian transports to Ukraine.
With Christmas they will bring some joy and happiness to Ukrainian children. Many of them do not have much to look forward too. By making a financial contribution you will be directly helping foundation 'Dobro Zawsze Wraca' in Krakow. These funds will enable to buy food for the helpless ones. All help is much appreciated!
Thank you so much.
