I am giving this a shot.. February 10th I was taken to Shawano ER after my family found me hallucinating with severe confusion, slurring my words and not making any sense. I was made somewhat stable and transferred to Neenah Thedacare ICU where I stayed from the 10th-24th and had 2 surgeries in a matter of a few days. I lost days where I don’t even know what happened.

February 6th I had an ovary removed and the surgeon knicked my colon and I went septic. I almost died. I am unable to work, I am barely able to be a mom, I can’t pick up my kids, I can’t do house work. My life has been turned upside down.

I don’t remember most of the stuff that was done to me but I was opened up in the middle of my abdomen, I have staples down the middle of it. I have an open wound I have to pack two times a day. I am struggling mentally to deal with everything that’s happened and that I now have to have an ostomy bag for at least a year. I had to have dead bowel removed. I am asking for help because I don’t know what comes next for me, I am unable to work right now, and waiting to find out when I can go back to work. I’ve been through hell and back in the last month, and I’m just trying to get by.
