Your Urgent Support is needed to help alleviate poverty for families in need in LIbrazhd area. With your help to reach this target, we will be able to provide food and medicament for this families as well as books and necessary school equipment for the children.
COVID-19 is a global pandemic and has adversly affected and devastated millions around the world including people that live in Librazhd district of Albania. Many of them are unemployed because of Covid-19. The elderly, those in need and those with health issues are facing lack in food and medicaments. The illiteracy among young children’s is growing because of lack of access to online learning equipments and school materials.
Iridion Bahiti is an local volunteer which is active with charity activities for people in need in Librazhd district. Since 2018, he is running an charity program called “Together For Librazhdi”. A program aimed at assisting children and families in need by improving their livelihoods and integrating in the society.
• Support for vulnerable groups: The main goal is to end hunger at Librazhd district. The charity program provides food aid and other needs for families in need living in poverty in both rural and urban areas, families with lower economic incomes, families with members that got health problems, families of the Egyptian communities, and those families affected by the pandemic.
• Support for education: Another goal is to help to prevent the illiteracy in rural areas. The charity program provides school aid for children in need living in poverty, children in families with lower economic incomes, children with health problems, children of the Egyptian communities, and those children affected by the pandemic.
The goal of Together For Librazhdi charity program — launched by Iridion Bahiti — is to help ensure that all people have reliable access to food and children to get better education too.
We have an opportunity to come together to support the Librazhd district communities in this critical time of need.
