<div>How do you keep living and working when you're forced to leave everything behind?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Ouda, a 24-year-old software quality assurance engineer from Gaza, Palestine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just days before the war began on October 7, 2023, I got engaged. A week later, everything changed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I lost loved ones — including my father-in-law — and close friends and relatives. In the midst of the war, I was forced to get married in September 2024, without a home, income, or stability.
</div>

<div>During the temporary ceasefire in January 2025, I started to rebuild. With generous support from my community, I was able to purchase:
</div>
<ul>
<li>A solar panel for basic power
</li>
<li>A SIM card with a 3-month internet plan
</li>
<li>A portable Wi-Fi hotspot
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>This allowed me to return to freelance remote work for a short period. But on March 18, surprise airstrikes caused massive destruction and loss of life, killing over 400 people, including 174 children, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health — the deadliest day since the war began.
</div>
<div>Once again, I was displaced. I had to leave everything behind — including the equipment I relied on for work.
</div>

<div>This fundraiser is solely humanitarian and personal.
</div>
<div>I'm not raising money for any organization or group. I am the sole beneficiary, and the funds will be used to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Secure temporary housing in a safer location
</li>
<li>Purchase food, clean water, and daily essentials for my family
</li>
<li>Provide basic healthcare and pregnancy-related support for my wife
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If possible, help me <strong>rebuild the basic tools </strong>I need to return to remote <strong>work</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I currently support:
</div>
<ul>
<li>My pregnant wife
</li>
<li>My elderly parents
</li>
<li>Four younger sisters (the youngest is just 2.5 years old)
</li>
<li>Two teenage brothers (ages 14 and 15)
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to ongoing displacement, skyrocketing prices, and psychological stress, I cannot work consistently. But I haven’t given up. I believe I can return to work — I just need a stable place to start again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve made it this far, I ask you:
</div>
<div>Do you believe the global professional community can help individuals like me survive and rebuild?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any support — sharing, donating, or even just a kind word — makes a real difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your humanity and solidarity.
</div>
