Support Legion Branch 15 in Brampton

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 in Brampton supports Veterans in our community and beyond. Our impact on veteran issues in Brampton and across the nation can be seen in the successful initiatives we have launched over the years.

Now that we have closed our doors, we are in danger of not being able to reopen after this pandemic is behind us. We need the support of our community, as do all our community small businesses and not-for-profits such as the Legion branches coast-to-coast, to keep providing the support and services we offered before COVID-19 changed our reality.

When this pandemic is behind us, we intend to open our doors and be part of community revival in Brampton. In the mean time, we continue to support Veterans using the donations received from generous Canadians during prior years Poppy Campaigns by delivering groceries  and other supports as necessary.

Please give generously.
And Please join us when we reopen our doors.

Thank you,

The President & Executive Committee

What supports does the Legion offer veterans?
The Legion can support veterans through financial supports or advocacy with Veterans Affairs or connecting veterans with resources; and more.
At the community level, branches support veterans by running veteran and senior drop in programs, hospital visits, care programs, financial supports, hosting programs and courses.

What is the difference between Poppy Trust Supports and Branch Supports?
Branch Service Officers and Poppy Officers work closely with other committee members to manage their case load of veterans and provides support where needed based on an individuals needs.
Poppy Funds can support the costs associated with Service Officer work, including covering prescription costs, necessities, supports for their families, supports for Army, Navy and Sea Cadet programs, and more. Branches will provide the overhead support for the Branch Poppy Trust and the Legion's mandate to support veterans such as providing a physical location, funding courses and programs for veterans, providing a safe space for veterans in need, planning Remembrance Day Services, organizing community & veteran events, providing an Honour Guard to community events, providing a funeral detail for families of veterans who have passed, and more.
