Fear is not going to the doctor because “No News is Good News”. Faith is going to the doctor and at least having things checked out. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer during their lifetime. Statistics are higher for African American men than any other race.

5 hours, 6 incisions, and over 42 stitches later (inside and out), “I shall not die… but live and proclaim the works of the Lord” (PS. 118:17). To God our Father, the Great Physician, be all the glory, honor, and praise (PS.91:16).

Though I am blessed to be healthy, healed, and whole, unfortunately, I’ve learned that I have no short or long-term disability benefits.
