McKinley's Fight Against Cancer

McKinley our little Strawberry Shortcake will soon be 6 yrs old on Wednesday June 18th. It is true to say you never know what tomorrow will bring. For McKinley she went to bed Thursday night as a healthly 5 yr old and woke up Friday morning now facing possible cancer. She was admitted to a local children's hospital with the findings of a large tumor on her right kidney. From the X ray, ultra sound, CT scan and symptoms the doctor's strongly believe that McKinley has a rare form of cancer called Wilms. Surgery can happen as early as Monday but we are still waiting for an official biopsy. Due to recent findings of a small lung nodule on her right lung the doctors are considering starting chemo soon to prevent further spreading. McKinley is just one 4 children Gary & Autumn care for. I know with everyone's prayers and support we can make a difference. Relieving them from the burden of medical cost and finances to allow them more time to focus on McKinley and their other children would never be anything they would ask for themselves, but would mean the world to them. So please say a prayer for the Pearson family and if you are led to donate please know that any amount is appreciated.
