Janine Marie Guasto Nutter"”a loving and charismatic
fifty-one year old woman, an amazing and supportive mother of two, a caring and
compassionate daughter, an endearing and empathetic friend to many"”passed away
in her home the morning of June 23, 2013, in Round Rock, Texas.
Janine was born on September 30, 1961, in Long Island, New York. In 1975, she moved with her parents and sister to Austin, Texas, from Ronkonkoma, New York. Janine graduated from Pflugerville High School in 1979, where she was a cheerleader. After many accomplished years in the real estate industry, Janine began working at the Brushy Creek Community Center in Round Rock, where she developed many memorable connections with the community's families and friends. Janine will be forever remembered as a woman of faith, a passionate believer in human rights for all people, a fierce and loyal single mother, an animal lover and New York Yankee's fan, and for her lifelong history of selfless philanthropy.
Janine is survived by her two children, David-James and Nicole Marie Nutter, mother, Joanne Katherine Donato Guasto, sister, Jenette Guasto, aunt, Anita Donato, nephews, James Schrimsher and Raven McCord, great-niece, Lilu-Rai, and will be missed dearly by many other beloved family and friends. Her memorial service will be held at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 2p.m. to 3p.m. (6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX. 78752). Family and friends will be celebrating Janine's life directly after the memorial service at the Brushy Creek Community Center (16318 Great Oaks Dr., Round Rock, TX. 78681). All family and friends are welcome.
