Silently Fallen Flag to the 7-Summits Mission

As an Afghanistan War Veteran who lives with Bipolar, PTSD and even tried to take his life, in 2014 I launched on the mission, challenge and priveledge of carrying our 'SILENTLY FALLEN' FLAG (bearing the names of our lost warriors) into the '7-50' record books (All Fifty US State High-points and the Seven Summits of the World.) With 41 States, along with Everest, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, and Kosciuszko completed, that leaves only Denali, Elbrus and Vinson Massif and 8 states left to complete this mission, and possibly become the first veteran to do so. (Only 6 people on record have completed the '7-50').
The last financial hurdle is VINSON MASSIF in Antarctica, which is my next destination on 6 Jan 2019.
These climbs help us to bring National Attention to our SfS PTSD/Veteran Suicide Awareness Campaign and the over 8000 Veteran Suicides that occur each year. To honor and remember the Fallen (and their families) on our flag, and through my struggles and successes in the mountains, I hopefully can lead an example, to other struggling veterans, that you can reclaim your life and take on any obstacle that comes your way.
DISCLAIMER: The Mission and Message is essential, and my Climbs and Quest are very important to me, but they are not 'Needs' and not one cent of our donations that come into Summit for Soldiers is used towards any of my climbs. My climbs are funded out of pocket and by those wishing to help me realize this goal and objective. Furthermore, I limit these donations and sponsorships to 20% of the expedition costs of these climbs, covering the additional 80% myself.
