Our Story
My disabled Parents and Family are on the verge of losing our home to foreclosure. We need your support to reach our goal of gaining enough funds to bring our mortgage current, which will allow us to save and live in the home my Family has come to love.
To explain how we got into this situation, my Parents Melody and Art Plascencia are victims of Multiple Sclerosis and Primary Lateral Sclerosis, respectively--they are no longer able to work to make a living and have not been able to since October 2011. Thus, we've fallen behind on our mortgage payments and have yet to bounce back due to inadequate income and high cost-of-living expenses in our area.
As of now, I, along with my two sisters, have been supporting our household to the best of our abilities. I've personally been working with the bank over the last year to save our home, but unfortunately, it looks like a battle we may lose if we don't receive support to help us pay off the huge balance which lies before us.
