Strength For Danny

Donation protected
Hi everyone, this is Danny and Amanda. They are going through one of the most painful things no couple should ever have to go through. Danny is a 37 year old Polycystic Kidney Disease and home dialysis patient due to having a severe kidney diesease and has been for several years now. On March 14th after being too weak to dialyze, he got up to weigh himself in order to do dialysis, upon making it to the restroom after almost being too weak to stand, he fell in the restroom and sustained a head injury. His wife and caregiver, Amanda, tried to get him up off the floor, but after being nothing but dead weight from already being too weak, she had to call the ambulance to help. EMS rushed him to the emergency department. After finding a small brain bleed the ED decided to admit him. After he was settled into the hospital, Amanda went home to get some rest and take care of fur babies. She had been up since very early that morning for work. Since Danny has been too sick to work, Amanda has to be their primary provider. She knew he would be in good hands and well taken care of at the hospital. A few hours later, after the hospital not being able to reach Amanda by phone because she had been up since early that morning and was so exhausted, she received a knock on her front door from the police department, with the heart wrenching news that her love, Danny, had went into cardiac arrest and his heart had stopped, thankfully with the skilled staff performing adequate chest compressions, they were able to bring him back to Amanda. He is now in ICU in a medically induced coma after finding he is severely septic, has MRSA, elevated temp, blood clots in his legs, vegetation on the heart, an extremely high white cell count, and now on constant dialysis. He was also taken into surgery today (3/23/18) to place a clot filter for the blood clots. Amanda has devoted her whole life to taking care of and nursing Danny's health. Everything she does including her work schedule revolves around Danny. They have only been married about 2 1/2 years. No one knows at this point what's going to happen but Amanda needs you. She is going to have medical expenses, travel expenses, household bills, missed time from work, and possible other expenses that she can't afford alone. Expenses that she shouldn't have to bare alone. The smallest of contribution to facilitate her time of need would be appreciated. The family is just trying to raise enough to ease some of the financial strain off of Amanda so she is able to concentrate solely on the love of her life. Amanda's family along with Danny thanks you so much for helping Amanda in her time of need.
