Stop Youth Violence Campaign

Hello my name is Min. Charles Caine I am the President of Brothers EMpowerered and our youth EMpowerment extention Jr. Brothers EMpowered. We're based out of North Minneapolis a community that has been plagued by youth crime and violence. For the last three year we have been working on our Stop youth violence campaigns to minimize  the rate of youth getting involved with criminal activities. This campaign was influence by the repeated loss of young lives within our community. We hosted our first stop youth violence event June of 2014 with the Mariotis Harris Youth Spiritual Initiative started by my aunt to honor her son's death and to prevent youth and gun violence in the city of Boston. We have planned and hosted three Stop Youth Violence events in the last three year.  We are currently planning  our fourth annual Stop Youth Violence event and we need your help along with your assistance to make it an even more success then the last three. The purpose of our Stop youth Violence event and campaign is to take a stand against youth violence, gang activities and drug abuse. We also create a platform for youth to let their voice be heard and share thier gift talents and abilities. We would also like to take our Stop Youth Violence Campaign from schools across to metro as well as parks. We have over thirty young boys from the north Minneapolis area that we mentor through community engagement as a preventative method from crime, gang and drug abuse. This event is self- funded every year and we need your donations and support to continue our efforts. We Believe that the youth is our biggest and most valuable investment, please find it in your heart to donate today to this life changing and EMpowering cause. Here are some activities that we will be doing with our youth throuthouth the summer.

Stop Youth Violence Campaign Outlook:

• Youth Leaders will developing their message of safety and violence prevention along with the delivery format.
• Youth Leaders will delivering their message of safety and violence prevention throughout the metro (schools, parks and rec, neighborhood associations, churches & events).
• Youth lead and created violence prevention movement (BSC).
• Youth create a resource list for their peers.
• Youth Leaders Plan and organize neighborhood popups, Stop Youth Violence Annual Event & Conference, political advocacy at the capital, youth bike rides and fundraising.
• Recruit other youth and plug them into outlets and activities.
